York County Community College was founded in 1994 under the name York County Technical College. The Technical College recently became York County Community College in the summer of 2003 and is classified as a public, two-year institution. York County Community College operates with the mission to provide “the most relevant, flexible, and life-enhancing experience possible.”  

YCCC offers associate’s degrees and certificates, as well as workplace training and professional development services. For students wanting to work toward a degree or certificate but who have a hectic schedule, York County Community College offers classes and programs that can be completed online whenever and wherever a student prefers. With York County Community College online degrees students benefit from courses with the same high academic standards as campus courses and that are taught by the same instructors.
