Founded in 1961, Williston State College (WSC) operates as a two-year public community college in the North Dakota University System. The college is one of eleven institutions under the jurisdiction of the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education. Williston State College is “Where the People Make the Difference.”

WSC offers transfer programs leading to Associate in Arts and Associate in Science Degrees. Students can complete the first two years of many majors and transfer with junior status to most four-year colleges and universities. Williston offers associate’s degrees and certificates, a handful of which can be earned completely online. Williston also partners with other universities in the North Dakota system to allow students to earn bachelor’s degrees online. WSC online degrees offer the same high-quality education but with greater flexibility.
