Program Details

The University of West Alabama offers an online MBA with a concentration in Accounting.  This program is designed for individuals who want to advance their knowledge of business theory and apply it to industry roles.  The Accounting concentration prepares students for advancement into higher levels of management, including the areas of accounting and financial management.  Students who want to take the CPA exam will be able to take the additional courses needed for CPA licensure.  Courses in Accounting include:
  • Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting
  • Accounting Theory
  • Advanced Cost/Management Accounting
  • Governmental and Nonprofit Accounting
In addition, students will complete courses in core MBA topics including technology, entrepreneurship, finance, management, marketing, and more.
