Learn the techniques to be a leader in the field using data science to solve complex problems with an M.S. in Data Science from the University of Virginia. The part-time, online program focuses on an integrated curriculum taught by experts in diverse domains. You’ll explore data analytics topics like natural-language programming, machine learning and text analytics.
At the School of Data Science, we group learning activities into four domains — analytics, systems, value and design — which are all applied in a fifth domain called practice. Our hands-on curriculum prepares you with the knowledge you need to be a pioneer in data science. You’ll participate in a team capstone project, but you can start applying what you learn in the classroom on day one to your current job.
Complete the program in 20 months ready to translate data into understandable and actionable results.
