Program Details

Become a successful global health practitioner and address your community’s most pressing health issues with George Mason University’s online Master of Public Health. Taught by renowned faculty members from the first College of Public Health in Virginia, this Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)-accredited program was recently recognized by U.S. News and World Report.

As a student, you will complete a public health curriculum, including core courses and courses within the public health practice concentration.

George Mason is committed to offering you an affordable option for your graduate public health education. Transfer up to 12 credits and complete your degree in just 2.5 years. We also offer a mentorship program, pairing you with alumni who can provide professional guidance and career advice specific to the public health field.

When you finish this hands-on program, you will have completed 200 practicum hours and be eligible to sit for the Certified in Public Health (CPH) examination. Graduates are prepared to make a difference by pursuing a wide range of roles in government health and social service agencies, private-sector companies, and non-profit organizations.
