Program Details

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette offers an online MBA with a concentration in Health Care Administration for students interested in positions within the business area of Health Care.  The curriculum prepares students to lead and navigate within the health care industry through core MBA courses and courses in Health Care Administration.  Courses will look at topics including the human, economic, and technological aspects of health care, providing skills that positively impact patient and business outcomes while advancing student careers.  Students will also learn about day-to-day administration in health care and about financial and clinical operations.  You will learn to apply management theories in health care settings, act professionally, and examine traditional legal and medical relationships as they relate to economic and ethical rules of conduct.  Graduates are familiar with the public and private mechanisms for financing the treatment of illness.
