Program Details

The Master of Science in Applied Data Science is an online data science degree from Syracuse University for students interested in entering this field.  In applied data science, you will study both management and information studies so that you are prepared to effectively apply analytical concepts to gain insight from data.  While learning to use applications of data science to collect, organize, and manage data, you will also learn to solve complex business problems related to big data and data analytics using practical data science techniques.    The curriculum covers both practical analytical and technical skills using an interdisciplinary approach to learning.  Students will master data visualization tools as they learn to communicate data findings with professionals in organizations.
