Program Details

The online Master of Divinity available from Southwestern Assemblies of God University prepares students for Christian ministry and post-graduate work. The curriculum helps students learn and practice biblical interpretation, critical thinking about biblical and contemporary theology and ethics, and healthy ways to interact within the diversity of cultures and religions. You will also learn to interpret scriptures using their historical and cultural contexts and to preach sermons that are biblical, true to the text, and sensitive to audience needs. There are both thesis and non-thesis options available. 

Students are able to customize their programs by selecting from several specializations, including:
