Program Details
The Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education & Supervision offered online with residency requirements on campus in Virginia Beach is designed for currently licensed counselors. This CACREP-accredited program prepares you for a leadership role in the world of counseling and mental health while you complete your internship and present an original dissertation. You’ll receive hands-on training that is mentor guided and supported. You’ll also be trained by a distinguished core faculty of researchers who are recognized advocates in the CES field; and have produced hundreds of insightful articles as well as many books and publications. Presented from a Christian worldview, this program teaches you how to apply biblical and spiritual interventions as a teacher, scholar or practitioner.
