Program Details
The online Master of Education in Counseling and Development with a concentration in Professional School Counselor program prepares educators who are trained in mental health to work in K-12 public and private school settings to help students with academic achievement, personal and social development, career or college readiness, and planning. The curriculum emphasizes mental health promotion, positive youth development, early mental health intervention and development, substance abuse prevention and intervention, and suicide prevention in the school setting.
