Program Details
The AAS in Information Technology provides both in-depth knowledge of computing technology fundamentals and the technical skills required to pursue a career in this field. JCC’s online IT degree looks at the hardware side of technology to examine how data is transmitted, exchanged, stored, and displayed.
In addition to a core set of courses, students have the opportunity to customize the degree to their career goals by choosing from a wide range of elective options. Graduates will have the skills necessary to install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and document IT services. Depending on electives chosen, students can enter support positions for computers, applications, networks, or databases.
