Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the Indiana Institute of Technology is designed for students who want to pass the CPA exam or assume management positions in the field in business.  The program expands accounting knowledge in government and nonprofit accounting and in fraud examination, preparing students for work in both fields as service-oriented professionals.  The curriculum consists of core courses in business administration, teaching students to become leaders and instilling business ethics, theory, and motivational skills in students.  Courses take a functional strategic approach that includes emphasis on management, marketing, finance, accounting, and economic principles in domestic and international marketplaces.  

The Accounting concentration helps students demonstrate responsibility, accountability, and ethical consciousness in their decision making while the courses focus on communication for accountants, fraud examination, government and nonprofit accounting, and Becker Review.
