Program Details

Georgia State University offers an online Associate of Arts in Philosophy. This is a pathway program which helps students prepare for their intended bachelor’s degree major. This curriculum provides the necessary courses students need to complete the Associate of Arts pathway and continue in the Philosophy discipline at the bachelor’s degree level.  

In this program, students study ideas, problems, and challenges of life and the world. Students will learn to challenge, defend, and develop a tolerance for ideas. You will also gain skills in problem-solving, persuasiveness, and the ability to understand and express ideas.
