Program Details

The Master of Arts in Illustration is an online art program from Academy of Art University, a top online art school.  This program teaches both representational and stylistic approaches for print and web.  The innovative curriculum blends digital technology with classical training to meet the growing need for trained artists in both areas.  Students will learn to pay attention to detail, gaining portrait, clothed figure, and live animal drawing skills along with an understanding of anatomy and design.  You will be able to develop portfolios with samples in Children’s Book, Editorial, Licensing, Package Illustration, Concept Art, Book Covers, Preliminary Art, Advertising, or Institutional Art portfolios.  Graduates will have their own personal style and medium of choice appropriate for the market.
