Program Details

The Academy of Art University offers a special online fine arts degree, the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Motion Pictures & Television.  This is the students’ opportunity to immerse themselves in the filmmaking world at a top art school.  In this film school you will study with professionals from the entertainment industry, including Academy and Emmy Award winners.  Faculty teach students through hands-on filmmaking experience.  The curriculum features a solid foundation in creative process and the business skills of entertainment. 

Students will choose to specialize in one of the following key areas of filmmaking:

• Directing
• Producing
• Cinematography
• Editing
• Production design
• Screenwriting
