Hi there, I am a newbie in the world of homeschooling, having taken it upon myself to educate my two young kids (both under 7 years) at home. For the past couple of months, I have been reading a lot on the same and have come upon the conclusion that it would be best to design my own curriculum for my kids, personally customized according to their needs and wants. I don’t want education to be simply a learning by rote or bookish experience for my kids (that is the precise reason why my husband and I decided against the concept of the general schooling process) and thus I want them to have fun while learning stuff. Since I’m a stay-at-home mum, I feel I can devote all my time to them. I have come across some useful resources and websites online such as Learning Games which seems to have quite a good number of educational worksheets and activities for kids. Could you please help me out with more such online resources if possible? Thanks in advance!
There are lots of online teaching resources available for homeschoolers. It depends on you which subject help you are looking. Well there are also lots of resources where you can learn all the subjects in one place like esl classes online, homework math solver etc. I have found acadsoc.com and this is very useful for all types of subject.
Hi!
I did a quick Google search and found tons of results — hopefully these will help!
Parents.com Free Homeschooling Resources
Homeschool.com
PBS Resources for Homeschooling
HomeschoolCentral.com
What state do you live in? Some states offer homeschooling courses for parents.
Another way to find great resources is to talk to other parents that are homeschooling. Join a Google+ homeschooling group or get on a forum and speak with other parents whose children are a few years ahead of yours. I”m sure they’ll be happy to help!
Best of luck!
