Mount Marty University’s offers a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, you’ll provide evidence-based mental health care through pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy.
The curriculum provides academic knowledge and clinical knowledge to provide holistic mental healthcare for individuals, families, and communities. Coursework covers mental health promotion, disease prevention, assessment, and management of psychiatric illnesses. Clinical experiences focus on serving rural and underserved communities.
