School Details

Peru State College was founded in 1867 as Nebraska’s first college and as only the third teacher education institution established west of the Missouri River. The school was originally named Nebraska State College, but in 1963 it was renamed Peru State College. Peru State College’s mission is “to provide life-long learning by fostering independent inquiry and promoting the value of knowledge and discovery.”

Peru State College is a four-year, public university that awards bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees to students around the globe. Many of these are online degrees for students who cannot come to campus daily due to distance or scheduling issues. Peru State College online degrees are not only flexible, but they are also innovative.
