The online Graduate Certificate in Oral Health Professions Education builds on previous bachelor’s degrees to prepare students to help shape the future direction of oral health care as oral health professions educators.  Graduates are prepared to teach courses in dental, dental hygiene, or dental assisting in a variety of educational settings, such as community colleges, four-year institutions, and vocational/technical schools.  Courses include Adult Learning Theory for Oral Health Professions Education, Curriculum and Course Design in Oral Health Professions Education, and Oral Health Professions Education Practicum.
