Program Details

The online Master of Public Health is designed for students with bachelor’s degrees who are interested in enhancing their careers in health care fields by learning about the main services the public health system offers.  The program focuses on preventing disease transmission, promoting health and wellness in communities, and improving health outcomes.  Courses teach skills including defining the ten essential services of public health and utilizing them in community health, knowledge in all five core disciplines of public health, and developing strategies for health issues and translating that information to the students’ public health practices.
