Program Details

The online Master of Public Health educates on the organizational response to disaster relief, disease prevention, outbreak response, child wellness, and other public health factors relating to shared or public health as students advance their understanding of public health policies and management strategies to provide positive medical and social response change in different communities.  The curriculum includes statistical methods in health science, principles of epidemiology in public health, and psychological, behavioral, and social issues in public health.  Graduates are able to understand and communicate information effectively with the public and professionals, utilize information technology, review and apply evaluation methods utilized in public health, and work with and create strategies for providing health services to culturally diverse communities through health organizations and providers.
