The UWG WebMBA program was very challenging but flexible. During my 18 months in the program I traveled to Europe and Africa and never missed a beat with my class assignments and interactions with my cohort and professors. There are 10 classes that you take, two at a time. Roughly 50% of the work is teamwork and 50% individual work. Professors use prerecorded presentations, videos, simulations, Harvard case studies, textbook materials, discussions, homework, quizzes and papers to teach and grade students. At times we emailed professors when we had questions and they would call within 5 minutes to our cell phone! Others would join our team teleconference when requested. Overall, a challenging but flexible program which applies theory to the real world.

What a challenging and rewarding experience! I highly recommend the WebMBA program. You will be challenged but you will truly gain the knowledge and skill you need to be successful, whether you’re seeking entrepreneurship or career growth. You will build connections and networks that will last you a lifetime and when you walk away with your degree, you will feel equipped, confident and ready to take on the next challenge that life brings. Supportive staff, a curriculum that ties in real world issues and facts and a learning experience that will truly provide value to your life, is what you will get out of this program. I would choose this program again and very thankful I made the decision to enroll.

I HIGHLY recommend the WebMBA and Georgia College and State University! The team based approach is designed for your success. The professors are very knowledgeable in their respective fields of study and are very accessible to their students. As the last semester of the WebMBA program comes to an end and I find myself reflecting upon the sacrifices, hard work, and deep relationships formed with my group and cohort (Kennesaw State), I can not be any prouder of the achievement or the academic quality of this program. While “flexibility” is a huge differentiating factor of this program – in that working professionals are able to maintain a work/life balance, the rigorous academic demands and team oriented experience, make it a challenging and rewarding experience. The Georgia WebMBA program is very challenging. It is self-paced, which is great for persons that have busy schedules and connecting at a specific time is hard. There are different types of classes, some are more team oriented and others are more individual. Selecting the perfect team is a key factor for success; I recommend to choose diverse groups based on your careers and studies, this way you can complement each other. This is the best investment I have done in my life!

I knew I needed to acquire my MBA if I ever wished to advance in my career. The WebMBA program fit perfectly with my busy schedule and allowed me to pursue my degree while still working full time. The Georgia WebMBA is a great program. Some of the classes can be quite challenging, but if you put in the effort it will definitely be worth it. The cohort style is very interesting in the sense that you are assigned to a team for the duration of the program. You want to make sure that you have a team varied enough to assist with any disciplines you may not be familiar with. The courses are structured so that you can work and still put in the time required to complete assignments and projects. The mix of individual and team-based assignments and projects is something I liked about the program. Don’t be afraid to talk to your team members if you have any issues with the material. The professors will help you if you are having issues or will try their best to accommodate you if real life issues arise. Additionally, your team members can become lifelong friends, so don’t be afraid to stay in touch with them after the program is over. I would recommend the Georgia WebMBA program to anyone who is looking to improve their knowledge.

This program was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. It is perfect for someone looking to grow both personally and professionally with an advanced degree from an accredited institution. The online format allows you to learn at your own pace, but also requires discipline and focus amidst other priorities of family, a full-time job and other activities. The mixture of group projects and individual work simulates the real world business environment with regards to expectations for high quality work and accountability. The timing of the program is spot on, not too long and not too short. All major areas of business are covered in depth by professors with impressive backgrounds and experience who show genuine care for students’ learning and improvement. I don’t think I could have chosen to be part of a better program for the return on investment I will receive for the money, effort and time I put into earning an MBA!

You could not ask for a better program or one that is more accommodating for no-traditional students. The mix between group work and individual work ensures that you stay on track and working with a group gives real live experience in management when it comes to deadlines and organization. The value is outstanding as well. I recommend the program to anyone considering an MBA, especially if you are already established in the workplace and are looking for ways to expand professionally. With the value and quality as well as getting the degree from a brick and mortar I don’t know why anyone would pay more!

I am getting ready to graduate and this program is amazing! I’m married, have a new child, I work long hours, my wife works long hours, and I was still able to put the time in required to complete this program due to the professors’ organization and flexibility. The hybrid between teamwork and individual work seems like a perfect mix. I really enjoy the cohort style program and mixture of the different schools involved with the program. I feel more well equipped to take my career to the next level!

I really enjoyed my time with the Georgia WebMBA program. I chose this program initially because it was a ranked online MBA program through accredited schools and because it did not require attendance at anytime during the program other than the mandatory orientation at the beginning of the program so it did not create major scheduling conflicts. I also liked that I received my degree from one of 5 schools that participate in the program but still taught by other professors in those particpating colleges. In addition, the program is setup where you choose a team before orientation, meet the team at orientation, and stay with that team throughout the entire program. This was really helpful because you are able to build not only a strong MBA team to get you through the program, but you also build meaningful friendships with people that understand what you’re going through trying to balance school, work, family, social, etc. Having a team for the entire program also allows you to dive right into the semester and not have to waste a week or two trying to build a new team and get to know new team members and their learning styles like you would if you had to choose a new team with each semester or class. The classes are challenging but fulfilling and I feel like I am prepared to take my business knowledge I acquired to my job so I can continue to develop my career. I highly recommend the Georgia WebMBA program.

The Georgia Southern WebMBA program is a great experience and challenged me as a professional. I would recommend this program to any working adult because of the team based approach and the flexibility in working online. The professors are talented and care about your learning experience. You will not find a better value for your money in the country. Go Eagles!

I have enjoyed the Georgia WebMBA program. It is a challenge and at times seemed overwhelming but I would highly recommend this program. The great thing about the program is all the courses are preselected and each semester you are told what you are taking and when to register. One less detail to worry about. Also, once you start there is no stopping. Each semester is back to back. A semester off would be nice but this programs allows you to complete your degree in under two years! The professors are very kind and when I have had any type of conflicts with being out of town for work the professors have worked with me to take tests early or fit the due date in some how so I can complete before or after. Also, the program is team driven based. This is extremely comforting as it is all online. If I had a question or concern my team was always there to help me out. Some of the projects are team based as well. I had an amazing team so I was very lucky. The professors provide feedback for assignments so if you miss something in the start of the semester you know how to improve.

The Georgia WebMBA program is quite challenging, but well worth the investment. It is self-paced, but not such that procrastination becomes an issue. There are deadlines in each class, although in most of the classes you can submit your work early.

Some classes are more team oriented than others. I highly suggest selecting team members who are different than you since you will rely on them quite heavily during the program. Team members help with projects and assignments, but more importantly provide encouragement, teaching (when the instructor doesn’t explain something very well), insight into your management skills, and lifelong friends and business contacts.

I highly recommend the WebMBA and Georgia College and State University. Georgia College advisers are extremely personable and genuinely care about their students. Georgia College takes the extra step of offering on-campus activities if you are close enough to Milledgeville. The personal connection to the advisers and the campus make it feel less like an online program.

The team-based learning environment allows for growth together as a group. It also allows group members to focus on individual strengths and help each other if emergencies arise.

I do not regret choosing the WebMBA and Georgia College. Its a great choice for a rigorous, affordable, AACSB accredited online education.

What an exceptional program! From start to finish, I was able to learn at night and take my new skills to work the next day. The professors were great and obviously spent a good deal of time working together to develop this comprehensive program. The work was challenging, but still manageable with my full-time schedule. The pace of the entore program was rapid but each cohort is dividied into teams (which you stay with throughout all ten courses) which helped to keep everyone on track. With dedication and determination, you can do well in the program even when life happens. You will go through the program in a group of 5-6 people and you will get to know these team members closely. I graduate this semester, and overall I am very pleased with my educational experience in the Georgia WebMBA program. I started the traditional MBA program at Kennesaw State a few years ago but didn’t finish due to job and family conflicts. However, the WebMBA program gave me the flexibility to do school and still manage the other things in my life that are important to me. The professors I had were the same professors that teach in the traditional programs at the schools that are a part of the WebMBA program. As such, I found them to be accessible and responsive. I got everything I expected to get out of my WebMBA experience and more.

6. No need to take full-fledged undergraduate courses to fulfill program prerequisites

This program is highly accredited and one of the most affordable MBA programs with such accreditation.Group work is encouraged and was very enjoyable. Professors do interact with the students, although there could have been more interaction. Overall, I enjoyed every minute of it.

As a working professional that completed her Bachelor’s degree over 10 years ago, I felt that getting a MBA would help further my business knowledge from a strategic standpoint. The Georgia WebMBA is a challenging, accredited program that meets the needs of busy, working professionals. Although it’s done online, there is an extensive amount of interaction within your cohort as well as within your own team that makes you feel like your in a typical classroom setting. I’d highly recommend this program and would encourage anyone that’s in it, to stick with it. It’s all worth it in the end.

I have worked in a global company for the last 11 years, and when I decided to pursue an MBA doing it online was the only option due to my travel schedule. What I found most impressive is the way the program adheres to real world scenarios of having to work with a diverse team that is commonly not located together. Having to adapt and learn how to work with team members via the latest collaboration technology available is how it truly is when working for a global company. For those students who do not have this real world experience this is a great way to get a sense of how collaborating with a dispersed team actually is.

This program fit perfectly for me for 3 reasons: (1) I am a very experienced professional and UWG allowed me to bypass the GMAT that sped up my program, (2) No on-site requirement so it did nto conflict with my current job, and (3) fully accredited. The program is not easy and you and your team are pretty much on your own and there is no classroom to learn from. Professors are available for questions, but you must rely on the other students the most. 2 years of no nights and weekends but worth it.

The WebMBA has helped me move forward to a management position. The instructors were supportive of the each students efforts. They kept communication lines open and for the most part responded quickly (even more quickly than an in person class) to questions, comments, and such. Although each instructor is different, all used a base course package and then broaden the tools used for communicating. Some did videos, some discussion board or chats. Some facilitated calls or team structures.

The GA WebMBA program is a fabulous way to pursue your MBA, and I would highly recommend it to professionals that are dedicated to expanding both their education and their experience dealing with others; the team based experience can’t be duplicated! This is an excellent program for a reasonable price.

This AACSB accredited University program is a fantastic opportunity to gain an MBA with international studies at an reasonable price. I started in the first cohort but finished in a later one. The program has only improved with the caliber of student and professors.

Good program for a working professional to enhance business skills. Delivery of content is straight forward, instructors are accessible, and materials are not only grounded in business basics, they are also forward looking. The research methods and stats of this program was enough to allow me to pass the ASQ Six Sigma GB certification exam on the first attempt (without paying for a primer course), which was an added benefit I was not expecting!

Good degree/experience from an accredited program that is based in real universities in the University System of Georgia. The coordinator was a little spastic and some of the administrative aspects were disjointed and not very well handled, but overall it was a good program.

You will not be sorry should you choose the WebMBA. It is a well-structured program that provides the necessary needs and foundation in a graduate program to enable an individual for future success and growth.

The world has become more local than ever before and so has the business world. Shouldn’t the MBA experience? I appreciated the ease and professionalism of the administration staff and professors throughout the entire program. At no time did I feel like a number; in fact, I think the professors spent more time with us that with their live classes!

This program is very challenging yet affordable. It is very flexible and great for those who want to continue working while furthering their education. This program requires a lot of your time and is not a cake walk! The professors are very qualified and extremely helpful with your questions. After college, I started my MBA at Auburn University. Shortly thereafter I had to make the choice to invest my time into opening my own business or finishing my masters. I devoted my time to my business. I never regretted that decision, but I did regret not being able to complete my masters. After multiple relocations due to my husband’s job, two children and multiple attemps to complete my degree at an on-campus program, I came across the WebMBA. The course work was rigorous and knowledge rich. The only difference between this program and the other on-campus programs I attended was the fact that you could attend class at your convenience. The team of quality professors cut you no slack for being “on-line”. In fact, it was quite the opposite. They expected more of you. The collaboration with the German students was one of the highlights of the program. I would strongly recommend this program to anyone considering getting their MBA.

I am only in my first semester but so far the program has been fantastic. The content is very challenging and extremely fast paced but the flexibility to do the assignments around my schedule is priceless. Without the flexibility this program offers I would not have been able to go back and get my MBA.

The degree received upon completion of this program matches all other accredited programs, and in some categories, exceeds other programs. The coursework is very challenging, and has been so easy to apply in my current job.

I would like to see Business Law, Business Policy, Business Tax, and Project management type courses added to the program as well. I think they should merge OB and Business Communication into one course.

Excellent program with instructor that expect the best but also provide the best support. No hassles with registration and lockstep team based program provides ongoing learning.

A great educational experience, far exceeded my expectations

The Georgia WebMba program has proven to be an excellent value. The courses were challenging and the real life application value is very high. The instructors use the same curriculum and standards in the web program as they are using in their classrooms at the finest institutions in the state, so as a student one receives the exact same education and degree, without spending time traveling to the classroom.

If you need a non-traditional method of earning your MBA due to working full time and don’t want to spend a ton of money, then this program is for you. But be prepared to spend a lot of nights and weekends studying. You do get assistance from your professors and from other students but since there is no classroom you are basically teaching yourself. It is very challenging, but I am learning a lot of practical skills that I can take to my job. The reasons I chose this program is because it is affordable, it doesn’t have any residency requirements, and it is fully accredited. I highly recommend this program if you have the self discipline to work in this type of virtual environment.

The Georgia Web MBA program is undoubtedly one of the best choices for online MBAs today. I am not enrolled yet but have it on my short list after using GetEducated to screen and compare about 400 online MBA options. The cost is below average; and when I asked my boss at Microsoft what he thought of the program he was impressed that a great state university system like Georgia (where he earned an engineering degree) had an online MBA. When I called there was no pressure. Just the facts and an impressive list of faculty. AACSB accredited too! One of my top 3 best distance learning MBA choices to date.

The Georgia WebMBA program is a well designed program focused on teaching its students the advanced business concepts one expects an MBA degree holder to have. The program puts an emphasis on teams and working together through out the program. This helps the students learn how to function in groups of people with diverse backgrounds and to help overcome the ‘remoteness’ of an online program. This program is a state of Georgia program that is accredited by the AACSB and the degrees are issued by one of the Georgia schools in the program. Mine was issued by Kennesaw State University and does not say it was an online or web program. You avoid being associated with all the diploma mills out there today. Program costs were very reasonable for an MBA at under $20k for the entire 21 month curriculum. You do not need to be a resident of Georgia or the US to participate in this program. I was able to continue participating while I was on several trips to China during my program.
Overall a very worthy program to keep on your short list of choices.

Well structured program and knowledgeable staff. Curriculum is challenging, but manageable with other commitments (family, job).
Start to finish time span makes it easy to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I have already begun to apply my learnings and can not wait to graduate and see the full benefit of my degree.
