Loyola University New Orleans offers an online Master of Pastoral Studies based on over forty years of experience in ministry education and over twenty-five years in distance education. This is a professionally oriented, graduate program that develops theological and ministerial competencies. The curriculum features the integration of academic study with theological reflection on ministerial practice and personal experiences from living as people of faith. The program welcomes students from all walks of life, including those new to the fields of theology and ministry, others already working as ministers or religious educators, and students working in various other settings including hospitals, social service agencies, businesses, and more.
