Program Details

DeSales University offers an online Bachelor of Arts in Theology degree. Students learn more about the human experience and how to address certain concerns of our existence. The Catholic curriculum places a strong emphasis on the role of divine revelation in human life and in the tradition of Christian Humanism, the study of Theology is integral to self-comprehension as students discover their existential fulfillment by becoming “beings-in-love” with God. The program helps students appreciate the divine calling of every human being to a life of love while theology addresses concerns of our existence. 

Graduates are able to:

• Explain the nature and philosophical foundations of theology
• Articulate theology in terms of scripture, doctrine, ethics, and history
• Explain Catholicism and its fundamental doctrines
• Explain the Christian humanist tradition of St. Francis de Sales
