The Justice Administration concentration provides in-depth knowledge in managing justice systems, including seminars on justice issues and choices between law enforcement and corrections administration. This track also explores the management of crisis situations and their aftermath, preparing students for leadership roles in justice administration.

“Birth through age six is a magical time because the child is developing and growing at a rapid pace,” says Leslie Floyd, Director of Early Childhood Education. “As an early childhood educator, you get to be a part of that amazing experience. You help to form a solid foundation for each child’s further development and education.” Many graduates of our online program pursue careers working directly with children and in related fields, including child advocacy and family support education. You might also choose to work with nonprofit or government agencies.
Our non-licensure program transforms students into compassionate, high-quality early childhood educators. The program offers you flexibility and hands-on opportunities. Students intern with a mentor teacher as they complete two semesters or a total of 120 hours of fieldwork. This capstone experience gives you the chance to put theory into practice as you guide young children in a developmentally appropriate, high-quality learning environment.
With this non-licensure program you will study the four primary subjects taught in elementary schools: English, math, science, and social studies. You will also study pedagogy (learning best practices) for delivering those lessons in creative, engaging ways. Depending upon your individual State’s requirements, this non-licensure program could prepare you to be ready for licensure testing and a fulfilling career teaching grades Pre K – 6. (Check with your state for your alternative teacher licensure pathways).

The Bluefield University CCNE-accredited online RN-BSN program reflects a commitment to serving the needs of local communities, especially rural healthcare. The School of Nursing will train you to lead more advanced roles in your chosen healthcare setting.
After completing this program, MSN students who select the FNP concentration are eligible to take the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners national exam.
The leadership/education concentration prepares students for a future in nursing case management. Successful graduates are ready to take the certification exam for nurse educators (CNE) administered by the NLN, the certified nurse manager and leader exam (CNML) from AONE, or the ANCC nurse executive advanced certification exam.
