Program Details
The online Master of Science in Nursing / Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner is designed to allow students to get the same certification as a Nurse Practitioner, but also take courses that are more tailored in the women’s health category.
Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioners are experts in women-focused health promotion and disease prevention, as well as managing chronic health conditions affecting women.
The curriculum has a strong academic and clinical basis. In addition, it is unique in providing a strong foundation in understanding the business of women's health care. This includes assessing a community to discover the primary care needs, learning how to develop a plan for having a fiscally viable practice, and working within the license and insurance regulations of the student's state.
