Public health focuses on promoting wellness through education, research, and healthy lifestyles. To serve this need, California State University in Northridge offers a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education. This online MPH covers the five core areas of public health and professional preparation: biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology, health policy and management, and social and behavioral science. The flexible degree provides a cohesive and supportive community of health experts. The curriculum includes fieldwork, which will provide real world experience in the public health sector. Graduates go on to work in a range of disciplines and settings, including local, state, and national public health departments, health-based nonprofits, clinical and patient education, and social work.
