School Details
Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service is a two-year, not-for-profit private institution readying individuals for careers in avenues of funeral service. Graduates of this school take on many professional positions handling community relationships, law, public health, safety, and more. Each student will take on extensive knowledge of funeral service, the development of skills and techniques, and research to further professional competency in the field.
An online Associate of Applied Science degree is available to nontraditional students. Students may also earn a certificate in funeral directing online. This format delivers the same rigorous academic requirements as are expected on-campus, and prepare individuals for careers as funeral directors or embalmers.
