Program Details
The Graduate Certificate in Jewish-Christian Studies offers students the unique opportunity to learn about both faiths from practicing Jews and Catholic Christians. In this program offered in collaboration with Gratz College, students will take six courses in total, three from each college.
Classes examine the theology and liturgy of both faiths while discussing points of agreement and disagreement, with respect for all beliefs. This certificate can be beneficial to those who serve in broad, interfaith settings, such as chaplains, spiritual care coordinators, and social workers. Counselors providing advice on family, health, finance, and religious issues can also benefit from the understanding gained through this program.
