Program Details

The online Master of Public Health with a concentration in Public Health Practice builds upon the strong foundation of the five basic Master of Public Health concentrations, biostatistics, epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, environmental health, and public health policy and management.  Students develop their own curricula by identifying the competencies they wish to obtain and then selecting courses to achieve those competencies which results in developing greater skills and knowledge in two, three, or four of the basic concentrations.  Courses may include Evidence-based Management of Public Health Programs, Fundamentals of Healthcare Finance, Systems Thinking for Public Health, and Introduction to Management of Health Services Organizations.
