Vicky Phillips designed and directed America’s first online counseling center for distance learners for the Electronic University Network on AOL (1989-1996). As founding CEO of GetEducated.com, LLC, she has consulted with scores of colleges and corporations, helping them design and market elearning enterprises. Her clients have included George Washington University, PrimeLearning.com, Hungry Minds, America Online, and Study 24-7, among others. She has served as an expert on online degrees with Microsoft’s Encarta Encyclopedia, Monster.com, and the American Management Association. Her classic articles on distance degrees have appeared in

Vicky is the lead author of GetEducated.com’s Best Distance Learning Graduate Schools, and GetEducated.com’s Best Distance Learning Undergraduate Schools, free downloadable ebooks that help consumers and corporations get educated about the best accredited online degrees for their unique needs. She is also the author of the college guidebook, Never Too Late to Learn – The Adult Student’s Guide to College. Cindy Yager oversees the technology needs of GetEducated.com, LLC. Previous to joining GetEducated.com in 1996, Yager served as founding coordinator of the Computer Learning Center for Business and Industry Training at Ivy Tech State College in Bloomington, Indiana. While teaching at Ivy Tech State College, she was nominated for the Sample Award for Excellence in Instruction. Yager has worked in the Information Technology department at Saint Michael’s College, Colchester, Vermont, where she developed and taught computer application classes at the Emerging Technology Center. She is co-author of several of GetEducated.com’s publications: Writer’s Guide to Internet Resources and Best Distance Learning Graduate Schools. She is a Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP),
and certified in ITIL Foundations. |
